The issu... so i just clicked OK and ran the sync, which worked fine. Since I have not personally seen this error this is no way for me to verify that these solutions fix the problem.  In iOS 5 if you just hit OK and You should now see the SyncServices folder. navigate to this website

The error you get is just because your backup is corrupt and Itunes cannot recover it so it gives up the error and leave you nowhere.
