Instead of using DVD-R, you should buy DVD+R disk and give those a try. Got it to work like a charm the 1st time....every other time I get the "There was an error" message at 99%! you will need to search for some reviews to find out what works for yours. Check This Out I switched the burning speeds, different discs, everything.
