These sites distribute DLL files that are unapproved by the official MODELER.DLL file developer, and can often be bundled with virus-infected or other malicious files. The best part is that repairing registry errors can also dramatically improve system speed and performance.
It occurs exactly when you try to use the 3D commands - even if the first thing you do after opening Autocad is draw a box or some other 3d Solid. Please see "Causes of MODELER.DLL Errors" below for more information. Did you try the suggestion in the link provided? But the error persists.

I finally got this resolved - just thought I would note for anyone else having issues with architecture 2008 crashing when trying to extrude polylines. The time now is 05:25 am. Inserting any kind of tub size/type causes a crash.

Several programs can share the same MODELER.DLL file, but when these programs are uninstalled or changed, sometimes "orphaned" (invalid) DLL registry entries are left behind. All other files you need for reinstalling are already on your computer though.
