This is the answer…….there are two hidden mailboxes left in de mailbox database, called arbitration mailboxes. To disable an archive mailbox so you can delete the mailbox database, run the command Disable-Mailbox -Archive. I'm down to the last 3 arbitration mailboxes, but their names seem to be causing a problem when I try to remove them. However I have tried what MarkieSA has suggested and I still see no mailboxes.
