The error in TECH216099 is first time appear in our duplicate backup job and we have no changes in configuration recently. In few instances, removing the Duplicate stage & re-adding helps, but best would be to recreate entire job definition.. 0 Kudos Reply Why would deleting the job Paul_VanDyke Level 3 ‎12-10-2012 Would these jobs then ignore backup sets created with the older backup selection list and policy?

The job is defined to use AOFO with Microsoft Shadow Copy.

If so, how are you overcoming it? My question is now that the licenses have been installed, is there anything that needs to be done for the Exchange and SQL servers so that they will be backing up Since the backup definition doesn't see the stages exactly the same way a policy sees its templates, the entire backup definition needs to be recreated. Base on the response above, this make concern to me as Symanteccustomer.

We run a full backup once a week and run an incremental job to backup the changed files on the other weeknights,  A full backup byte count is typically 7.6 TB I've looked up the error message in the documentation and on the internet and can find nothing.Any ideas? uvine (IS/IT--Management) (OP) 10 Sep 02 08:28 I am trying to restore an important mailbox for Exchange 5.5 from a backup tape using Veritas 8.0.I have a standbyserver (NT 4.0 SP6a)

You may get a better answer to your question by starting a new discussion. But ever since then I cannot seem to run a restore at all. Is there a way to fix or work around this? Everything was working fine before the new install.
